About Us!

We want to eliminate the need to capture wild seahorses, providing totally domestic and healthy specimens. We contribute to the ecology of the seas.

INGENS Cultivos Marinos is a family operated aquacultural facility designed to captive breed and raise seahorses (Hippocampus spp). We began operations in 2001 in Mazatlan Sinaloa Mexico.

We breed different species, currently offering Hippocampus reidi (Brasilian or Longsnouth Seahorse) and Hippocampus ingens (Giant Pacific Seahorse). We also offer hybrids (H. ingens x H. reidi) but those are scare.

We produce high quality captive breed seahorses that are 100% adapted to life in captivity, they are no shy as the wild counterparts, they are active eating live preys and frozen foods.

We have all permits needed to legally produce seahorses, and we are able to get CITES permits to export our seahorses.
